DESCRIPTION:This class includes an in-class negotiation and drafting activity. A laptop or tablet is strongly recommended. This class will provide information on contracts every small business should know\, including: the basic elements of contracts; how contracts are created (and breached); drafting considerations; “boilerplate” clauses and what they mean\, typical contracts most small businesses will encounter in day-to-day operations\, such as NDAs\, Term Sheets\, licenses and independent contractor agreements; and dispute resolution clauses. \nClass will be held in the University Center Building – Room 222.
