Bandhana Katoch’s background in science, graduate degrees in both Business and Law, and experience co-founding two non-profits, uniquely qualifies her to help small businesses address an array of challenges. As an SBDC advisor, she enjoys working closely with entrepreneurs, innovators and creative thinkers from different industries and facets of life.
Bandhana is an SBDC advisor based at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA. An advisor since 2017, Bandhana offers an array of expertise in business development, legal issues, and technology. While pursuing multiple graduate degrees, Bandhana co-founded two non-profits: CLIMB, which supports more than 30 businesses through human and financial capital; and Samya Trust, an organization based in Kolkata, India, that provides research, intervention and dance therapy opportunities to people with special needs.
After receiving undergraduate and multiple graduate degrees from universities in India, Bandhana continued her education in the U.S. earning her M.S. in molecular and cell biology, an M.B.A. in marketing, business development and management and her J.D. in intellectual property, regulatory compliance and corporate law from University of Missouri.
Bandhana is a published author in the biological sciences and has taught international marketing classes to undergraduate and graduate students at Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi and Oriya.
