Center for International Trade Development (CITD) 

In January 2012, College of the Canyons received approval to establish a Center for International Trade Development (CITD) on the college’s Valencia campus. This program operates as part of the SBDC, opening the doors for the SBDC and its team to provide resources, training, and business consulting  in international trade.  The CITD program was established to help promote the state’s high capacity for international trade competitiveness, assist exporters/importers excel in the international market and continually advance the state’s economic and job growth.  As one of nine offices located across the state, the CITD at COC has access to a full range of either free or low cost trade assistance services for individuals or companies looking to expand their international business presence. I3 Advanced Technology Incubator (ATI) 

A component of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosted by College of the Canyons, the I3 Advanced Technology Incubator program nurtures technology-based start-up companies by offering access to a wide range of support services focused on each client’s long-term success. The support services are coordinated with, and supplement the business consulting services offered by the SBDC. Participation in the I3 Advanced Technology Incubator is by application only. Entertainment & Arts Industry Initiative (EAII) 

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) received a special fund to provide business support services focused on the unique needs of businesses in the Entertainment and Arts Industry. Consultants with expertise in the industry are available to help you address your unique needs. If your business is part of this industry, please call the SBDC for special assistance. Business Seminars
