SBDC Business Advisor Helene K. Liatsos is a Certified QuickBooks Instructor, and specializes in helping clients with QuickBooks. In addition, Helene assists clients with business startup; general business & management; and accounting issues including payroll, tax issues, financial statements and projections.As a home-based business owner, Helene has a special expertise in home-based and small businesses. She has published several articles and blogs on starting and running a home-based business, has developed an instructional DVD and e-book, offers a nationwide online course, and teaches a class on “How to Start and Operate your Own Home-Based Business at Pierce College and West Los Angeles College. In 2004 she received the Home-Based Business Advocate Award from the Los Angeles District of the Small Business Administration (SBA).“What I enjoy most about working with the SBDC is being able to reach more people who need guidance on how to effectively use QuickBooks as well as how to start or grow their businesses,” says Helene.Helene is certified in several versions of QuickBooks and is a member of the National Association of QuickBooks Advisors.
