An SBDC Business Advisor since 2013, Erica Bristol assists the SBDC’s clients with legal issues that affect their small businesses and startups.Her areas of specialization include mediation, intellectual property (copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets and patents), business contracts and transactions, and residential and commercial real estate.Erica has worked with clients ranging from small and mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500 firms. “There’s nothing more satisfying than providing a client with information that actually helps him or her grow the business and be successful,” she says.Erica is a member of the Executive Committee, State Bar of California, Intellectual Property Section; and member of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association; the Beverly Hills Bar Association; the San Fernando Valley Bar Association; and the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association and has contributed to the Los Angeles Daily Journal.She has a B.S. in Political Science from California State University Los Angeles and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.
