Gerald Anderson, an SBDC Business Advisor since 2017, assists clients with business planning, strategy, management, financial management, organizational development and performance, business entity formations and start-up activities.

As a small business owner, an advisor, business instructor, and a military veteran, Gerald’s perspective is unique. He started and operated a business consulting firm for more than 20 years. Gerald taught many students in business management, finance, accounting and other related courses since 2010, at multiple colleges. Finally, a proud military veteran, Gerald served as an Instructor at the U.S. Army Service School at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.

“The most rewarding aspect is helping entrepreneurs and business owners to understand and appreciate their business ideas, and how to turn those ideas into business ventures while maintaining their desired quality of life. I get a kick out of moving clients from point to point by assisting them in navigating obstacles and in resolving issues”, says Gerald.

Gerald is the author of the e-book, “Look before You Leap: How to Analyze & Plan Your Business Idea”. As a testament to his quality of work and advising, he won the 2005 and 2006 Outstanding Performance Award (Top 10%) from the International Profit Associates.

Gerald has his B.S. in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College and earned his Master of Business Administration (Legal) from Arizona State University.
