As an SBDC Business Advisor, Kevin Farr specializes in assisting small business owners and startup entrepreneurs with business issues including accounting, business financing, business management, strategic planning and negotiating real estate transactions. With decades of senior management experience in the financial services and real estate industries, Kevin can advise clients on business development, financial forecasting and accounting, strategic analysis, marketing, sales, market research and how to develop successful exit strategies. In 2010 Kevin co-founded an automotive finance company to take advantage of market opportunities after the sub-prime mortgage crisis, developing an operating platform and successfully sourcing outside investors to grow a multi-million-dollar loan portfolio for the business. An active member of the community, Kevin serves on the Governing Board of the William S. Hart High School District, previously served on the Urban Land Institute’s Community Development Council and Transit Oriented Development Council, and was a licensed California real estate broker from 1999 to 2013. Kevin has a B.A. in Economics and an MBA in Finance from UCLA.
