Plan for Every Part (PFEP) is a supply chain management methodology that creates and maintains a comprehensive database containing all planning, sourcing, inventory, storage, transportation, and consumption information for every component, material, and purchased item used in an organization. Originally popularized within lean manufacturing environments, PFEP provides a single source of truth for managing material flow across the supply chain.

Rather than relying on generalized inventory policies or tribal knowledge, PFEP establishes a detailed plan for each individual part, enabling organizations to optimize inventory levels, improve material availability, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
