You already use ChatGPT every day, then close it and go log into Shopify to do the actual work. This session closes that gap. We will connect the official Shopify plugin for ChatGPT and work through the hands-on jobs that eat a small owner’s week: creating and updating products, attaching product photos straight from chat, building collections, adjusting stock across locations, changing prices, and spinning up a discount code. You will watch a real store get built and maintained by conversation, including the setup decisions that protect you when an AI has write access to a live store.

By the end of this session you will:

– Have the official Shopify plugin installed and scoped to a staff account, not your owner login
– Create a complete product listing, including variants, options, inventory tracking, and a photo, without opening the admin
– Build manual and smart collections, update prices, and create discount codes by conversation
– Check stock across locations and correct counts safely, with a reason attached to every change
– Know what the plugin will refuse to do, including refunds, cancellations, live theme edits, and payment or tax settings
– Walk away with a weekly operating rhythm you can run in fifteen minutes
